“Uomo di Altamura” Regional Network

The regional network, established by the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the JV, Polo Museale della Puglia (Puglia Museum Hub), the Dioceses of Altamura, ABMC (L’Archivio Biblioteca Museo Civico - Civic Museum Library Archives), Consorzio del Pane di Altamura DOP (Consortium of PDO Altamura Bread) and the Taste and Tour in Masseria Consortium, aims to promote eleven sites through the creation and promotion of integrated cultural offers.

Since its foundation in April 2018, a series of products and services has been developed; first among these was the combined ticket that includes entry to one site managed by the JV and to a choice of one or two sites owned by other network partners, a guided visit and a free gift.

The Network also offers tasting events, workshops, guided walks, wine and food tours and events developed in collaboration with other partners in the region.

In 2018, the sites managed by the JV recorded a 42% increase in the number of visits.
