CoopCulture has brought its expertise and experience in the development of tourism and cultural itineraries to the INCAmmino project, an initiative focused on the economic development of rural communities along the Inca Trail (Qhapaq Ñan, Bolivia). The project aims to promote the awareness and cultural use of the region's natural and cultural heritage, as well as the application of new technologies in the community tourism sector.

As well as CoopCulture, the partners of the initiative, which was co-founded by the Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (Italian Agency for Development Cooperation) and promoted by the Istituto Cooperazione Economica Internazionale (ICEI - International Economic Cooperation Institute) and Progettomondo.mlal, include Red Boliviana de Turismo Solidario Comunitario (Red Tusoco), Red de Organizaciones Económicas de Productores Artesanas/os Identidad Cultural (Red Oepaic), the Italian Association of Responsible Tourism (AITR) and the University of Milano-Bicocca.

The aim of INCAmmino is to develop and improve tourism in eleven rural communities in eight municipalities of the La Paz, Oruro and Potosi Departments, strengthening the ability of local operators through the application of innovative technologies.
